Community Activities

  • The Duluth YMCA has many summer programs available.  Please see flyer for more information on camps, lessons, and membership.
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness Workshops.  NAMI is offering several workshops in June on mental health issues.  Workshops include “Children’s Challenging Behaviors,” “Understanding Early Episode Psychosis for Families,” “Recognizing Early Warning Signs of Mental Illness in Children and Adolescents,” and “Question, Persuade, Refer.”  Please see flyer for more information.
  • Duluth East Tackle Football and Cheerleading.  Reg. opens May 31.  Grades 3-8.  Season runs August-October.  Please see flyer for more information.
  • 2017 Greyhound Volleyball Camps.  June 19-21.  For girls entering grades 5-12.  Register by May 30 to guarantee a shirt.  Please see flyer for more information.
  • DeepWater Music summer lessons.  Register by May 25 for discount.  Please see flyer for more information.
  • Duluth East Summer Basketball Program.  Camps for boys in grades 3-12, Skills Academies for boys in grades 3-12  and girls in grades 5-12.  Registration deadline June 1.  Please see flyer for more information.
  • YMCA Camp Miller registration is open.  Please see flyer for more information.
  • Congdon Park Soccer registration is open and in need of coaches!  Registration for Congdon soccer U6-U12 is open.  We still need coaches, particularly for the U6-U8 levels.  Just a reminder that you receive a discount in registration fees if you volunteer to coach.  More on age cutoffs and costs here.  If you are interested in coaching please email Neil Wilmot at nwilmot14@hotmail.com.

  • Duluth Public Library offers programs for kids and teens!

When an event, such as registration, arises, we will include a reminder on this page, if you email at least one week in advance. There is no need to send a .pdf or paper flyer to the school.
