East High Agriculture students will be distributing ribbons and then entries will be taken to the Depot to a City-Wide Harvest Festival on Wednesday, September 24th. Very important for new and returning families - If you are new to Congdon Park please be sure to sign up for Infinite Campus (Parent Portal) and if you are a returning family, please be sure your contact information is current in Infinite Campus. Why is Infinite Campus important? The information stored in Infinite Campus is used for automated phone calls and email messages for emergency or weather related school closings, emailed communication from teachers, your school’s news and district news, and if during the school day you need to be reached in regards to attendance, a sick child etc. In addition to this, Infinite Campus allows you to view secure and timely information about your child’s attendance, lunch account balances, health info, assessment scores etc. A letter regarding Infinite Campus and a signup form for new families will be in the packet on your child’s desk at Back to School Night. If you are new to Congdon fill out the form - DO NOT SIGN IT - bring it into the office and Jane the secretary, will be the witness to your signature. If you need an access form, ask Jane in the office for one, or print one from our website.
It is Congdon Park Elementary School Directory Time! The Directory is a great resource for planning playdates, organizing class parties, or who to call that might know the spelling words from your missing list! It is an optional publication and you must "opt in" by submitting your information. Please fill out the google form once for EACH student you have at Congdon. (I know a little time consuming but a HUGE help for maintaining the database we convert into the publication). Please submit by Oct 3, 2014. Questions can be directed to Nicole Widdes at 218-391-8812 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Look for the directory to come home with students in October. The sooner you respond, the sooner we can send it to the printer, the sooner you can start using it! Respond NOW!
